Has he done any Batman comics? Didn’t he do the cult with Jim Starlin? I need to read it, is it good?
Unfortunately, he didn’t do many… The image above is from Batman: Hidden Treasures, which collects a ‘lost story’ he illustrated about Batman and Solomon Grundy. There was also a (surprisingly forgettable) Batman/Aliens crossover and the occasional covers. The Cult tries too hard (and fails) to be The Dark Knight Returns, but it may be worth checking out for Bernie’s art… His most impressive Batman story, though, is ‘Night of the Bat’ (written by Len Wein), from Swamp Thing #7, which has been collected several times. That one is awesome!
